MUSIC: Kefee - Be Strong
Kefee lives on! Even in death, the Chorus Leader’s voice of hope still rings loud. Here is her first official posthumous single `Be Strong’ from the stables of her label – Branama Afrique. It’s a Soft-Soul tune that dwells on the bible passage, “Weeping may endure for the night time but joy comes in the morning.”
Speaking on the song, Kefee’s husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, revealed that Kefee also has many more songs and videos which would be released as time goes on.
“My wife worked really hard on her music while she lived and left a large number of unreleased songs and videos. I have been struggling with myself on how and when best to release then but I haven’t come up with any strategy yet.
But `Stay Strong’ is a song she intended releasing after recording it in Los Angeles and it’s good we keep to her wishes. It’s a message to her fans to `Be Strong’.
“We would try to release as much of these as possible so that her fans can always listen to her songs and watch her videos. She wouldn’t have wished it any other way,’’ Teddy said.
