GOOD ACADEMIC GRADES AND PERSONAL QUALITIES: "KEY DETERMINANTS OF LABOUR MARKET SUCCESS."
It
is so good that you have taken this audacious step! I mean, making the
decision to take your education to tertiary level and even beyond.
Getting this far was not easy, I know. No doubt, you have endured many
rainy and sunny days. You have gone through the bustle and hassle of
elementary education, basic education, secondary education; and you have
even done various examinations that range from WASSCE, NECO, UTME and
post UTME.
Now, here you are! An undergraduate hoping to be a
graduate in the nearest few years; serves his father land, and land a
‘very well paying job’ for himself. Good, you have envisioned well! But,
truth be told; all these may possibly remain a mirage, or might I
simply say ‘fantasy’, if you fail to strive for good grades and work on
your personal qualities and traits.
You need not be told that this
country has become so fiercely competitive that only those who possess
the prerequisites are making head way and getting to the peak. As a
student, graduate to be, and a potential job seeker, the prerequisites
to becoming successful in the corporate world are your good academic
grade and personal qualities.
The growth of this country’s
population has become so exponential that we now find it hard to balance
our needs with resources. By implication, Jobs that were always readily
available for graduates in the 70s and 80s, have become so scarce that
companies now take different stringent measures to streamline the number
of applicants that can apply for their openings. One of such measures
is setting ‘minimum academic grade’.
Except and unless you are
not interested in working under anyone; if you do, I sincerely urge you
to strive for good grades in your academics. Although, a high academic
grade is not an ‘end’ in itself, but it is sure a very good ‘means to an
end’. A good academic grade gives you an identity and recognition. It
endears you to employers and carves attention to you. Good academic
grade gives you competitive edge and you will need not be disturbed by
minimum grades set by employers. However, all that said, I need to
sincerely tell you that getting good grades takes sheer hard work and
self-discipline. It takes perseverance and self-determination. You must
be ready to pay the price and give all it takes. You need to set the
goal and ensure that you diligently work towards it.
Now, after
your good grade has gotten you those appointments for interview, the
next thing that could either make or mar you in the journey of landing a
good job are your personal skills and qualities. It is good that you
have good academic grade! But, beyond that, the employers want to see
what you are bringing to table. They want to see your demeanor,
communication prowess – the usage of the queen’s language, your
analytical skill, your professional etiquette, among others. Every
employee of an organization is presumed to be a brand representative of
that organization. Hence, no ‘image conscious’ organization would be
willing to have a mediocre has its representative.
In
conclusion, evaluate yourself today and try to figure out those personal
traits, if any, that can mar your success and try to do away with them.
That might require that you stop some of the things you currently do or
even avoid some of your friends. You need to try as much as possible to
cultivate those excellent qualities and also try to put-in for skills
that you know would place you in a better position in the labor market.
I pray that we will all get to the mountain top after our sojourn in our various campuses.
Beautiful day to you all.

6 THINGS THAT CAN CAUSE YOU DISGRACE AND EMBARRASSMENT
6 THINGS THAT CAN CAUSE YOU DISGRACE AND EMBARRASSMENT
I was having a solitary thinking due to what i experience to day. I realized that there are things you should avoid if you don't want to be embarrassed.
let me go straight to the point. Read along with me.
1. ALCOHOL: I know some people will see this and hiss, but that is the truth, most people do abnormal things when they are drunk. last week a friend of mine, (name withheld) got drunk to stupor, when it was time for him to urinate, he went to the kitchen and urinated inside the cooking pot.
2. EXAM MALPRACTICE: OH my God, this one just happened today. My course mate was caught cheating in TEST, you need to see how she was embarrassed by the lecturer and everyone was looking at her like a thief. Her integrity was reduced to a stick of matches.
3. WOMANIZING: I remember when I used to womanize. thank God am a new creature. womanizing can lower your integrity to Zero. let me use Biblical references, see the case of Judah who went out to sleep with a prostitute not knowing it was his daughter in-law, he had no money but he gave her his belongings. when he was told she was pregnant he said they should stone her to death but she said, Judah is the owner of the pregnancy.
4. BAD GRAMMAR: it is so saddening that even the so called graduate of ENGLISH STUDIES cannot speak English fluently. I heard a graduate giving a testimony of what happened to him. He said, I quote " area boys pursued me and they wanted to CHUK me the knife...." chuk. I covered my face in shame. If you cannot speak good English it will be very hard for you to speak in public.
5. STEALING: when i say stealing, it is not related to picking someones property. therefore having sex without marriage is stealing, why? because you stole her vagina and used it. Did God permit you? The shameful aspect of it is when you are caught Unclad...
6. UNWANTED PREGNANCY: I WON'T waste time on this, but when you mistakenly, did i call it mistake? yes because that is the normal language we use for it. when you impregnate a girl, there will be shame all over you, especially when you are poor.
I need to drop my keyboard right here....

4 ways academic failures enlighten us
If someone comes up to you and says that they have never faced a
disappointment in their academic life or failed to match their
expectations, then they are seriously joking. No student can overcome
their academic challenges or go through all the academic levels without
struggling through or failing to overcome many of those challenges. Some
students might say that they never failed to overcome their examination
challenges, but failed in their academic papers while some might say an
opposite thing.
The whole point is that students learn from experiences and failures. They are the part of academic life and one should not forget to adapt to these challenges. The sooner we learn and manage to fight these disappointments the better we will be at the academic life and the struggles that we face. In order to adapt to challenges and find rationale in failures that we encounter, we must understand the lessons we learn. If we cannot learn anything from our mistakes and failures as a student then we will never be able to overcome our mistakes and weaknesses. Today’s blog is going to talk about some of the major lessons, students learn from academic failures.

Patience and Acceptance
When students fail, they have no other choice, but to digest the whole scenario and the situation while waiting for their chance to gain back the lost result again. This means that when we face certain academic failure, we learn the ideal skill of being patience and accepting the circumstances that we find ourselves in. Sometimes this skill is very important at a lot of different phases in life and this is why the sooner students learn to develop patience and acceptance the better it becomes for them during the academic life as well as in the other chapters of their lives.
Determination and Focus
Students who genuinely worked hard and yet have failed will never quit. They know they have given their blood, life and time to something and they can do that again. This means they are focused and determined to ensure they come out as winners. So the second lesson that we learn as a student from our academic failures is the determination and focus. Throughout our lives, whenever we go through bad and struggling phases, determination and focus will always help us gain the better of the worst situation we are in.
Focus on actions
One of the biggest lessons to learn from academic failures is to focus on actions rather than reactions. Reacting to certain failure will only mean wastage of time and health. If as a student, we focus on actions, then not only we save a lot of our time, but we also ensure that we gain back the momentum after losing it.
Learning to accept rejections
Failure means that we were overshadowed by something greater and our incapacity to perform. Accepting rejections is the hardest thing to learn and if one can do it, they can be really successful individuals in life, so academic failures teach us rejections and how to accept them.

STUDENTS: 4 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER STOP PRACTICING
Practice is the way to success. When students work during their academic
age, practice is something that becomes a critical point in their lives
as a school or college going people. It is a widely accepted fact that
the more dedication and time you try to focus on something you are weak
in, you improve eventually and make it your strength. Anywhere you go
whether it is the school or professional
world, you will see people encouraging you and advising you all the
time to work on your weakness with dedication so you can improve and get
a better quality out of it. Usually this concept in its simple English
term is called practice. The essentials of practice dictate that
constantly reinforcing the same thing again and again will not only make
you more efficient, but also improve the quality of work you do.
Practice is something that should never be left by students in their academic age for any reason whatsoever. Without practice, it will not be easy to survive a difficult course or term because you need constant reinforcement of the message to get glued on to your minds. Today, our academic blog post will feature four reasons why practice helps you improve your overall academic writing.

Practice helps in enhanced learning
Enhanced learning is the way to go today. Without the proper learning methods and mechanism, getting success in academia is not an easy task at all. For a large part of time, the more you practice the better your memory becomes at a certain course or a lesson. Right from the beginning, students are taught to reinforce the learning and keep practicing unless they knew it by heart. This means practice really helps you learn better by constantly smashing your brains with the same message and forcing it to remember.
Practice helps learn more
If you are aiming to improve your knowledge base and get better at information, then practice is the key. When you practice and dedicate your time exclusively to something, then you start to get efficient and better in that subject or assignment. Practicing helps you improve your knowledge of the subject, this means you also can do the same thing in a much improved and enhanced manner.
Practice makes you save time
Practice makes you efficient; it makes work easier for you and lets you get done with the work much quicker than you usually would. When you become really good at something like an expert, you usually end up doing that task the next time in a much improved manner by saving a lot of time. This means practice makes you efficient at tasks you would usually take more time in.
Practice lets you show creativity
Constantly practicing something will allow you find more creative ways to do the same task, this is why artists and painters require so much practice before they master their skills. When you continue to write, you can explore different manners and mechanisms to write from different aspects of the same work.

When Your Beauty Becomes A Curse.
Every lady is outwardly beautiful in her own
unique way but this piece is about ladies who know they are endowed with
outward beauty and i mean ladies whose beauty will make heads turn.
I have seen many ladies flaunt their endowments yet no man is willing to have most of them as wives and I kept wondering what could be wrong.
I have come to know that guys are wiser now and a reasonable man will not mind marrying a humble respectful reserved super ugly lady rather than have a manner-less and sharp tongued sex symbol as a wife but would rather bleep and dump such.
You get several likes in no time whenever you display your pics on social media and they call you Hot girl’, pretty girl’, sexy girl’ yet no man can stay with you neither can you stay with any-man because of your lack of manners and regard for men. Of what use is your outward beauty if you are still single at a marriageable age when the assumed less beautiful ladies are settling down happily and quickly?
This has nothing to do with mockery in anyway but let's face it. Is it not funny that a lady so endowed with physical beauty will remain single in her thirties or even late twenties? Definitely something must be wrong somewhere and most times if checked we will realize that these ladies are the cause and has nothing to do with men.
Most hot chics are arrogant, proud, impatient.too picky, disrespectful and always eager to turn down men or break up promising relationships because their beauty easily controls them and they believe a new man will always come around in no time.
More pathetic is the fact that many hot chics seem to believe they can achieve more in life with their physical beauty rather than hard work or even academic qualifications. We can see such in many tertiary institutions and business organizations whoring their way up their career ladder or to get good grades.
Most of these hot chics as they call them are intellectually dumb and i begin to wonder if their hotness is actually an exchange for their brains. Many of them can not hold up intelligent conversations but are always mostly concerned about fashion and very eager to expose their body shamelessly for the world to see forgetting that by so doing, they are shutting the doors of their life to responsible men while attracting those who are only interested in sampling the product they are advertising.
And after it dawns on them how reckless they have been, they usually come up with these defensive consolatory lines that "Everybody has a past,They are happy the way they are, marriage is not for everyone,i don't need marriage to be happy" but they secretely cry inside and wished they can turn back the hands of time.
Yes your looks will win you so many men; both the good, and the bad, but your inner beauty, your character and manner are the things that will determine whether any of those men would stay or run after accomplishing their missions.
The dumbest thing i have heard a hot chic say is "I'm so hot that at least 10 men approach me in a week"
NEWS FLASH!: A thousand men can approach you in one month yet none of these men will be interested in walking you down the Aile but will only use your sorry ass and dump you.
On the final note please let this sink into your brain.."If you think you are too hot to be with one man then be ready to be sampled by many men..the choice is all yours.
Be reasonable and understand that there is a thin line between when your beauty becomes a blessing or a curse on you...be wise.
Hope this makes a little sense.

4 steps to dealing with rejection or self persecution
You know that time of the year when we do a thorough “self
evaluation”, to know what good and what bad we did in the year. How much
we met our “New year resolutions”?
Well, that time is here. And it can play a tricky one on our feelings.
Imagine setting so many goals for the year, and realising you achieved almost none, imagine the feeling of rejection or in most cases self persecution that will come from that…
It is very normal to go through that feeling, but the question is how do we deal with that realisation?
1. Do not isolate yourself for too long: It is okay for you to feel
like being alone or isolating yourself when you feel rejected or
unaccomplished. But there should be a time frame for that.
Too much of anything is never good.
2. Get/speak to your care bears (People ready to listen to and give you a loving word or two).
Sometimes all we really need is a hug or two.
3. Re-engage yourself: Assuming the rejection/ self reflection showed you how much free time you indulged in. The fact that you don’t fill fulfilled means you are NOT doing something.
Re-engage yourself, start new projects, add something to your plate. Do more.
4. Re-strategise: So you got rejected or you feel like you did not
accomplish as much as you would have loved to. Well that’s in the past.
It is time for you to re-strategise, plan for the future.
If xyz did not work last year, maybe ABC will work next year.
However, ALWAYS Believe in yourself. Because you got rejected now,
or didn’t accomplish all you planned to doesn’t mean you can’t make it…
Rejection can be seen as a wake up call, reminding you that you can do better!

Students, Start Now To Prepare For Life After School
Let's make something clear, “students think". In fact, students think a
lot about money, drinks, parties, opposite sex and so on but most
importantly students think about their lives after school, which is
good.
The bad thing however is that what they think about life after school are majorly unrealistic thoughts like, "hey, I am finally in 100 level studying economics in Kogi State University, and I'll graduate in 4 years’ time, then go for service and probably do some masters and PhD thingy then get a job and make money".
That's so unrealistic that its makes WWE wrestling more real. Its plain garbage thought you need to start getting out of your head. This life isn't Hollywood, and when you're born into one hell of a country like Nigeria you need to wise up and start thinking with your "brain".
If you can take your time and look outside your window to see millions of graduates roaming about the streets you'll probably understand that it’s not as easy as you think it is, if it was that easy your parents and your friends parents and all parents in Nigeria will be multi billionaires and you may not even need to go to school.
Life isn't easy, and Nigeria is making life even harder for Nigerians. The labour market is so choked up, it will take extra power for an angel to pass through. There is hardship in every corner of the country and the earlier you realize these things, the better for you.
So instead partying and smiling all around school why don't you sit yourself down and not only think logically but also plan logically. These topics might get you onto the right path:
- First and foremost you need to realize you only have one life to live, every circumstance you find yourself will most definitely come once, you don't go to primary school twice, well, except you're going there the second time to teach or something. My point is, in every situation you find yourself you have to try hard in making the best outta that situation, if you don't succeed, it’s okay, at least you tried.
- Ask yourself questions, like why are there few rich people in the country, what can I do to get there, what are my potentials, what are my weaknesses. You have tons of questions you should start asking yourself.
- You need to start tasking yourself. Are you too young to make money?? I mean, there are lots of unemployed graduates out there who still depend on their parents. I know you don't want to belong in that category when you're done with school. You need to know what you have to do to make that money so you do not have to depend on anybody.
God has given you a talent, why don't you discover it and start using it to make money now. There are tons of things you can do as an undergraduate that can cough out money for you, you just need to think and plan on how to strike a balance between your academics and what you're doing.
It's not how petty the job is or how little you're earning. It’s about knowing for a fact that you can do something to improve your situation.
A lot of OND, HND, BSc, PhD holders are out there (those certs are common these days), some even have all those certs with them at the moment but have nothing to show for it because they failed to realize that school is not about learning on how to work for a boss, it’s also about how to develop yourself to being your own boss.
- You need to stop thinking about your future and know that the future you are thinking of is "NOW". You have to start thinking and planning logically from now on.
- You need to start encouraging yourself to do things that'll make you big. Forget where you are now, it doesn't matter, its where you're going to be when it’s all said and done that matters.
Forget the fact that you stay in Dagana or you stay in one shady place around KSU, and your fellow mates stay in billionaires lodge or exquisite lodge (it’s probably not their money anyways), it doesn't matter. What matters is that you are formulating a plan that will change your situation when four years is done and dusted.
- All in all you have to think of doing only what's necessary to get that money, not something people like or what they don't like, not what brings shame to you or doesn't bring shame to you, you don't have to care what people think about you, 'cause at the end of it all it's you and only you that matters.
Nobody remembers the disgusting or not disgusting things Dangote has done in the past, because it was necessary to get him to where he is now, “the richest man in Africa".
The bad thing however is that what they think about life after school are majorly unrealistic thoughts like, "hey, I am finally in 100 level studying economics in Kogi State University, and I'll graduate in 4 years’ time, then go for service and probably do some masters and PhD thingy then get a job and make money".

Nobody remembers the disgusting or not disgusting things Dangote has done in the past, because it was necessary to get him to where he is now, “the richest man in Africa".

Things Life Will Teach Every Guy When He Leaves Campus
So many undergraduates, including those in their final year in school
erroneously think that life on campus and life outside campus are same
thing. Far from it!!! Life outside campus could just be a sharp contrast
to life on campus. Foresight is better than hindsight...as Book of Proverbs says in the
Holy Book, 'A wise man sees trouble on the way and hides himself but the
foolish man sees it and walks into it'. The wise man will surely learn
by foresight while the foolish man learns by hindsight...after he has
entangled himself.
Below are things life will teach you when you expire from the campus:
1) Life will teach you that creating a romantic relationship with a responsible lady is no longer based on your looks or swaggz but how stable you are financially, emotionally and religiously. In school, you had it easy in getting Kemi to fall over you, abi? You should even think like a grown man before you leave that Ivory Tower!
2) Life will teach you that it is good to work hard to get good grades but not putting all your hopes on degrees and being enterprising and creative is excellent!!!
3) Life will teach you that you should have the fun while it lasts but don't waste your precious time and future banking on relationships that might not see the light of the day after campus!
4) Life will teach you that those people you and your crew were referring to as 'dull and a nobody' might be very intelligent without you knowing. Don't be surprise when you see them in later years in enviable positions in their respective careers! The Ukwuani people of Delta State say, 'Chiosa'...it means that destinies differ! Just because you are close to some corrupt lecturers and they give out marks to you doesn't mean you should look down on everyone!!!
5) Life will teach you that your parents did a lot for you by sending you to school. If you allow heavy hips and water-melonic boobs (Abeg, whatever that means) to confuse, distract and mesmerize you, you are on your own. To see a child through higher institution in Nigeria today nor be bread and Akara o! If na lie I lie, go ask your palee for house!
6) Life will teach you that you should never have compared your life with that of the female. They are and will always be ahead of you in emotional maturity! They might get married before you even think of rounding off your Youth Service Scheme!!!
7) Life will teach you that life, itself, has changed! If you feel you have been a salary earner by deceiving your parents for money back home with cooked-up stories, only to waste it on fruitless things, you will surely get the message vividly when you discover that the cash doesn't come again. You'd need to get up and do something.
8. Life will teach you that you dated some nice girls who you would want for a wife ...you just couldn't help losing them but you did because they are always readily available to be taken far more than you

3 Sharp Ways To Achieve Your Career Goals In 2016
2016 is here and the resolutions and goals have started rolling in. But permit me to tell you this:
You don’t need new year resolutions!
They’re simply traditions that do not amount to something great after 2 to 3 months. And they’re for those you need to get over a struggle. A research at the University of Scranton suggests that only 8% of people achieve their New Year resolutions and goals. What you need is to plan your goals beforehand; relevant goals that can be achieved.
You do not have to wait till January 1st before you set your goals. Most people fail at goal-setting and consequently fail at achieving their goals because the foundation of such goals isn’t even right. After the Christmas celebrations, spend the remaining days of the year planning your goals. Here are the 3 Sharp ways you can set and achieve your goals in 2016.
Make it SMART
Your goals should be S=Specific M=Measurable A=Action-Oriented R=Relevant T=Time-Bound.
Be specific; do not have a generic goal like ‘I plan to be better next year’ but at what? It’s better to say ‘I plan to be better at cooking/being a father/mathematics/public speaking/playing the keyboard etc
Make it Measurable. How do you know you have achieved success or you are failing at it. Having a goal like ‘I plan to be good and make people love me’ may not really cut it. How can you measure the love (or hatred) of ‘people’ for you?
Also, make sure your goals are Relevant and Time-Bound and packaged with some action. Give yourself a timeline e.g ‘Before the middle of January, I plan to shoot my first movie’. Let it be relevant to something e.g your career and make it actionable (what you will do to achieve it)
Make it Simple
The simpler, the better. Experts are of the opinion that people use the New Year opportunity to list a huge number of goals forgetting that other priorities will rise along the way. Keep it simple. It is more sensible to start small and set attainable goals but visualize the larger picture, the bigger dream.
Always Visualize and Believe it
Never loose your dreams or yourself in the euphoria of successes that will come your way in the new year. Have your goals written down and always believe it even when you fail at first attempt. A mental picture of what you want, where you’re going, what you want to achieve and even what you do not want to come your way keeps you on track especially when people who do not believe in you talk you down!
Failing to plan is the first step at planning to fail. You succeed: people will be happy and celebrate with you. You fail: it is all your fault and nobody will care to know what you went through that made you fail. It’s your decision.
Make those goals of yours SMART, Simple and give it a Mental Face.
Happy New Year!

The Dos And Don’ts For A Better 2016
The Dos and Don’ts for a better 2016
As we have entered the year 2016, there are some things that must be taken into consideration if you really want your 2016 to be better than 2015. There are some things that must be done, and some things which mustn’t be done (which you must avoid at all cost). Below are a few of the dos and don’ts for a better 2016
1. Don’t go broke trying to look rich: Many people are guilty of this one. You trynna look so rich, and in the process, you get yourself broke. Some people buy all sorts of expensive shoes, clothing, bags, etc., just to look rich, and they know the size of their pockets. In the process of trying to look rich, some people go broke. This habit has to stop in 2015 if you wanna have it better in 2016.
2. Never try to impress anyone: This one peculiar to guys. Many guys are so guilty of this. They do all sorts of crazy things just to try and impress their dream girl, or any other girl they are chasing or even to impress their fellow guys and gain respect from the guys. Don’t do this. Its trying to be who you are not, and its very bad if you want a better 2016.
3. Don’t live your life solely on what people say about you: People are going to talk. Definitely, its what their mouths are there for. But I’m not saying you shouldn’t listen to people’s opinion, but don’t base you life solely on their decision. Listen to what they think and do what you know will favor you and better your life, irrespective of what people are saying.
4. Develop the habit of saving: Don’t just spend it all… when you receive your monthly or daily earnings, try and save a little out of it. If you know saving in a bank won’t favor you, then make a saving box (the one we used to call kom-kom). I did that in 2015, so don’t feel shy to do it. I used an empty starch spray container. I dug a small hole underneath the container where I put the money into the container. That stuff worked magic. I saved at least N10 every day, depending on my spending for that day, there are some days I saved up to 50 or 100 bucks.
5. Learn to be grateful to people who have been of help to you: There’s a popular saying that “when you thank someone for what was done yesterday, that person will be willing to do more for you today” this is so true. Take this scenario, you give two people a gift each and only one person says ‘thank you’. The next day, who will you be motivated to give a gift? The one that said thank you or the one that didn’t say thank you?
6. Try not to break any heart in 2016: Yes boys, you heard me… stop that player attitude and stop using and dumping girls. Take responsibility this 2016 and guard the heart of your lover and be careful not to break the heart of someone entrusted in your hand. Not only guys, girls break hearts too… so ladies, don’t break any guy’s heart in 2016 aiit? The bottom line is, whoever you eventually fall in love with in 2016, try to guard their hearts well and take the love n relationship serious.
7. Don’t gossip: This one is in clear English, I don’t think it needs an explanation. For your 2016 to be better than 2015, DON’T GOSSIP!!!
8. Don’t betray your friends: Yes, don’t betray friends. It’s really a bad thing to do. It not only makes you loose a friend, but it also makes you gain an enemy. So be careful not to betray the trust of any of your friends in 2016.
9. Care for those who show care for you: Many of us really defaulted in this area in 2015. When someone shows you care, s/he expects you to return that care by caring for him/her too, so in 2016, change. Show care to those who care for you.
10. Develop a lifestyle: When I say lifestyle, I don’t mean you should develop just any lifestyle, but preferably a healthy lifestyle. What do I mean by developing a lifestyle? Lifestyle is a style of living that reflects the attitude and value of a person. Develop a stable life routine that would show your value. That once someone mentions something, people can easily say “no, I know him, he can’t do such a thing… that’s not his lifestyle”. Talking about a healthy lifestyle, you’ve gotta stay in the RED lifestyle to be in good health in 2016… RED is
R - Rest: have enough rest, your brain and body needs it. Don’t overwork yourself in 2016.
E – Exercise: exercise daily. Not just to have all ’em muscles and biceps but to stay physically fit too. You can follow my own personal exercise routine every morning, if you like, or develop your. I do 10 push ups, 10 sit ups, and 5 pull ups every morning before I take my bath.
D- Diet: eat well, don’t just eat anyhow. It’s not about eating enough food but about eating right, eating a balanced diet.
Thanks for reading, and happy new year.

When A Guy Makes Love To You With A Condom
This will be a very controversial one but as i always maintain...IT IS MY OPINION.
This is not about encouraging any unmarried lady to have unprotected sex with any man but its about letting ladies understand what goes through the mind of most guys when they use a latex on a them.
But before i go on,i would like to ask this simple question..Why do we use a condom?
While the answer to that can be too exhausting i believe that many guys will say they use condoms to prevent stds and pregnancy but after marriage they will not even think about using it on their wives but would prefer the lady to use other birth control methods.
Yes condom is for protection against stds and unwanted pregnancy but i believe this is only a terrible fallacy to boost the sale of the devil's tool.
What is the guaranty that even in marriage,a man or woman can't bring std home to the spouse? What makes it different if a man decides to have a condom less sex with his wife but uses it on a mistress?
It may interest every lady reading this to know that even most single guys usually have a mindset concerning a special lady in their life and they never use condoms on such lady because to them, such girl is too special and so cherished that they will prefer raw sex with.
This leaves me with one answer to why a man will use a condom on a lady and that is because he sees you as an object of a quick and cheap sex, untrustworthy and a potential std carrier and of-course has no deep respect and affection for the lady since he only believes at that point that all you are worth is the sex...This is what goes through the mind of guys in most cases. The most unfortunate twist is that many ladies willingly allow these randy guys to have them at will since there is always a condom to use..how pathetic.
As a lady stop deceiving yourself thinking the guy wants to protect you by using a condom on you but he is only trying to protect himself.
A real sexually decent lady will never allow a man sleep with her before marriage let alone use a condom on her So any lady that allows a man use condom on her is sexually reckless and should be placed side by side with the Love Peddler in the brothels and you can as well ask him for payment after the act.....quote me anywhere...condom is mainly for casual sex with a casual lady a man has no deep respect or affection for.
If a man truly wants you and not just your goody bag,he will not be doubtful to make you his wife rather than use a latex on you severally all in the name of protected casual sex.
If i were a lady,i would rather not have sex at all than have a man stick a latex inside me.If he truly wants me then let him put a ring on it and then we can start making love the way it was originally designed by GOD.
My candid opinion.

How I Managed Till I Got My Dream Job
This writeup has been on my mind for sometime but due to the nature of
my job,I have been extremely busy. This writeup might be helpful to some
of the unemployed youths who are currently jumping from one interview
to another, or those who are wondering what next after school.
I graduated from the university about 3years ago, and as a normal Nigerian graduate, I sat at home submitting cvs from one company to another, hoping ill one day get my dream job. I submitted cvs day in, day out and gradually days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. I gained weight and before I knew it,I felt myself rapidly aging, was looking far older than I was. The agenda for the day where the same, eat, games, sleep, eat, TV/games, sleep. If I needed money for anything I asked my mum, it was truly a nightmare, my mum took full advantage, in making me do menial house-chores which I so hated. Something has to change I thought.
I decided to go out and do anything I can to make money, so I started home lessons for my aunts children, she paid me 5k for two hours lesson, three times a week. I wrote an application to teach in one "dead" private school at a place far from me, I knew I would never be turned down due to my educational qualifications. So I landed my first ever job post school days, I was to teach 6 subjects(mathematics, geography, agric, biology, chemistry and physics) both for ss1 and ss2. It was a stressful job and the pay was just 16k, the transport from the school to where I stay was 4k per-month. Teaching at that school was soooo stressful, writing lesson notes for all those subjects, marking students notes and teaching. It was very stressful but I did the job diligently, My director recommended me to a man who was looking for a lesson teacher for his son, he paid 20k for 3hours a day, four times a week lesson. I was no longer depending on my mum for financial support and hence i stopped the house-chores I so hated
.
Fast forward, I was one day preparing the js3 class for there upcoming junior waec one evening when i noticed a woman who looked very rich observing me from the window. She was inside her car passing by and heard me teaching and it caught her attention. She sent her security man to collect my number, was expecting her call but she never called. One month later, I received a call and it was her, she wanted me doing home lesson for her children, they where 3 in number. After much negotiations she opted to pay 80k for the 3 of them, at this time all my earnings combined was about 116k. I stopped doing lessons for my aunts children, was just focused on my two lessons and the school where I was teaching.
Fast forward, the woman I worked for was a talkative and I liked talking myself, each time am teaching her children and shes around, we talk about everything. She grew to like me, and in no short time it was like we've known ourselves for a long time. Her husband is a contractor to a big oil company and he wanted starting an oil servicing firm for his wife, due to the discussions me and his wife usually have, I got to know. She told me about the project and how they already have everything in place, just looking for the right personnel's. She needed a manager who would run the place, she told me about it and subtly asked me if I was interested since I read a course similar to what she wants. I quickly agreed, despite my lack of experience she made me the manager of the soon to start establishment.
It was all a dream, as the manager I was entitled to my own personal car, which she gave me from her and her husbands fleet of cars and my salary structure is now over 400k. We started the company, she brought in more experienced people but all of them are to call me "SIR''. I became boss to car owners, " Big Men" and during the 6months have been working there now have shook hands to highly important personalities. The first interview we conducted, I saw graduates trooping in, just to get this job, made me realize how far I have come in a short while, only because I decided to leave the house and get busy instead of jumping from one interview to another.
The company has done really well in this few months, our second recruitment exercise is tomorrow and its like have been here all my life. In reality March this year, I didn't envisage Ill be here so soon. Morals of this, to those graduates out there still waiting for big organizations to start recruiting, before leaving the house, please get out there and do anything, no matter how menial it might be, while doing it be diligent , cause you might never know when its your turn to break-free of the yoke that's unemployment .

See How He Got A Job With A Third Class Degree
Most employers have shut their doors against graduates with third
class degrees; but the story of Adeoye Adekola, a tailor and a third
class degree holder.
Are you a third class degree holder and think you will never become a success in life again? Perhaps, the story of Mr. Adeoye Adekoya, a tailor and a third class graduate of Economics from the University of Ado-Ekiti, (now Ekiti State University) could stir you out of your state of despondency.
Born on April 4, 1979, the Sagamu, Ogun State indigene is not just a Dealer Sales Specialist with a fast-rising telecommunications company, he is an author and an accomplished motivational speaker.
Adekoya said he never thought he could get this far in life due to his unenviable performance in the university. “But I discovered my inner abilities and strengths when I was in life’s lowest ebb,’’ Adekoya disclosed to THE Punch in Lagos.
Narrating his life story, Adekoya said, “My teenage years were very eventful, I’m naturally very adventurous. I attended Ijebu-Ode Grammar School and later St. Finbar’s College, Akoka, Lagos. I was involved in almost everything. I played soccer for my street, in fact I was very good that sometimes our coach then would have to go over to my mum’s school to plead with her so she could allow me play at tournaments because they didn’t have a better replacement for me.
“I had five credits in the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination. I got admission to the University of Ado-Ekiti to study Economics. But I was carried away with the luxuries of life. I spent most of my time partying and having fun. Education became my second priority. If I had known the consequence of my wrong decision, I would have done things differently,’’ he explained.
Adekoya said that his frivolous lifestyle and youthful exuberance in the university made him come out with a third class degree.
“In my case, I passed through the university, but the university didn’t pass through me,” he said.
His life after university became much worse as he became depressed and addicted to drinking and smoking. In his words, the bottle became his best friend.
“I was depressed and got hooked to the naughty lifestyle. I was drinking and smoking heavily. I also did many other naughty things. I was regular at most of the pubs (beer parlours) in my neighbourhood. I was also a regular at the African Shrine. I was very discouraged and was practically hopeless. Eventually I decided to leave Nigeria, but I was refused the entry visa to the United Kingdom three times. I also won the American Visa Lottery and was refused a visa,’’ he added.
One morning, he woke up and realised that he had wasted most of his life.
“On this particular day, after leaving the pub, I got into my room; I broke down and started sobbing. I remember saying God, I’m tired of this type of lifestyle, I’m tired of drinking, smoking and trying to rule my life by myself . I need you to come and take control of my life. And since that fateful morning, my life hasn’t been the same again.
“I realised that for my life to change I had to change my mindset, so I started taking step to feed my mind with positive information. I enrolled for leadership training at an academy, I started reading more inspirational books and listening to inspirational audiotapes. I had people who had positive lifestyles as my role models. I changed my association.
“I was no longer frequent at those odd places any more; I was now very frequent in places where positive information was being shared. All these helped me a lot to purge my mind of the depressing thoughts. I began to discover my real self, I began to discover and deploy my leadership potentials. So I began to respond to the challenges before me, instead of reacting to them. My life literarily made turn for good since then,” he said.
So at what point did he become a tailor? Adekoya said the reality of his third class degree and its impact on his academic pursuit and career advancement dawned on him during his service year in Ebonyi State.
“I thought of what to do with my life after service because nobody would give a third class graduate job and decided to learn tailoring, which I know I have passion for.
“But rather than call myself a tailor, I preferred to be identified as a Fashion Solutions Provider,” he said.
Though his parents were supportive, some people mocked him. “But I didn’t care about those who mocked me because I had my eyes fixed on the bigger picture ahead,’’ he disclosed.
Speaking on how he found himself in the telecommunications industry, Adekoya said, “There was an opening in the organisation and I applied for the job. I was called up for the interview, which happened to be my first ever interview after graduation. I went for the interview and I remembered that the interviewers were very impressed with the way I answered two of their questions. They asked what I did for a living as at that time, and I told them that I was a Fashion Solutions Provider. The second question matched a scenario in one of the books I was reading so I just downloaded the principle I discovered in the book to them, which gave me the job.”
Adekoya’s story is just one in a few cases. There is also Mr. Abiola Onabule who finished with a third-class degree, but works with one of the top Information and COMMUNICATIONS firms in the country.
Employers claim third class degree certificates are very easy to filter out, as it is the perfect excuse to get rid of a reasonably sized number of applicants without needing to read the CV.
However, they said the value placed on degree classification is slowly giving way to experience and skills.
Recently, our correspondent received a Blackberry message that read “Graduates needed at one of the top banks. 2:1 and 3rd class graduates should apply”.
However, the Human Resource Officer, Estymol Oil Services, Lagos, Miss Mary-Anne Omobomi, said Adekoya’s success story was rare and that the least class of degree that the company could employ was a second class upper.
She said, “It is true that when you are looking into the multi-national database, majority of the members of staff are first class or second class upper graduates. If you find people who are below 2.1 qualifications, they must have come in through someone they know in top management.
“There is a change in focus because the competition between companies is stepping up every day. Everyone wants quality output and professionalism. Knowledge and innovation, they say, are the keys to success and companies are striving to become multi-national companies with a reputable calibre of employees. The idea behind bringing in first class and 2.1 degree- holders is to recruit well-learned people. I conducted a research and found out that it was the system or procedure that was obtained abroad and the Nigerian employers have sustained it,” she said.
For Miss Ebunoluwa Oyatogun, an employee in one of the new generation banks in Akure, her 2:1 degree secured her employment with the bank.
“I give God thanks for making me finish with a 2:1. If I had finished with anything lower, I doubt if the bank would have employed me. Even those with a 2:2 and third class were not employed,” she said.
Reacting to the issue of companies employing graduates with either a first class or second class upper degree, Mr. Oke Adewale, a graduate, said, “Our education will remain in shambles and destruction if 2:1 is the desirable grade for employment; besides, armed robber will champion the cause of justice. Eighty-five per cent of Nigerian graduates will remain beggars.”
Another graduate, Mr. Adetuga Marcus, said, “The assumption that 2:1 is the best qualification for graduates is absolutely wrong and unjustifiable. Our university system is so corrupt that students seek illegal ways to scale through the university. Results are not on merit principle. My advice is that all graduate job seekers should be subjected to the same quality and ability test irrespective of their classes of degree.”
For Mr. Marcus Kamai, “Using 2:1 to sift candidates for employment is not a ridiculous approach. The truth is that in most cases, 2:1 graduates must have worked a bit harder in the university to earn a 2:1 compared to other grades lower in the ranking. Most employers who are disappointed with the performance of 2:1 graduates are likely to be more disappointed with the performance of graduates with second class lower or third class.’’

Things To Work On Before Graduation
Things to work on before graduation
1. Spoken english
It is so sad that majority of Nigerian students in tertiary institutions don't bother about polishing their spoken and written english. Some graduates speak english worse than a toddler, making one wonder what they spent 16yrs doing in school. You hear them spew gabbage like "he come and slap me and I come and beat him". If you speak such english to an interviewer, even with first class clearly written on your CV, he will probably think you runzed your way through school. The use of words like yeah, goddamn, omo, sh*t, f**k etc should be stopped cos they don't portray you as a decent person.
2. Mode of dressing
Looking fly on campus was one of the things I enjoyed during my undergraduate days. It was fun cos you had so much of the opposite sex around to admire you. The moment I graduated, my orientation changed. Not that a graduate should stop wearing denims and sneakers, but sagging and putting on studs with crazy hairstyle should come to a stop if such a person wants to fit into the corporate world. In the corporate world, you get to mingle with matured or married men with enough decency. Sagging in their midst will make you look kiddo. Just cos your favourite musician davido sags his trousers doesn't mean you should do thesame. He gets paid to do that while you could get fired for doing thesame.
3. Spendthrift attitude
The first time I heard someone say his salary is 70k, I hissed and mocked him in my mind cos that was thesame amount we students spent on phones just to oppress each other. Now I've seen people earning less than 45k even with years of experience. What kind of person do you think you'll turn out to be when all you want is the latest expensive gadgets? In the real world, no one cares about the kind of phone you use. Even on naija campus these days, girls have stopped falling for a guy because of the phone he uses, they now trip for flashy cars. So, before you spend that huge amount on a phone, ask yourself this question: "is it going to improve my standard of living?". I didn't know I could turn my smart phone to a mini laptop with WPS, Excel etc until I got employed. My phone was all about bbm, whatsapp and facebook. I now saw the full potential of the phone. You need to cut down on your spendings. Also, get the idea of clubbing off your mind or it might ruin your pockets. The money saved from disciplining yourself can be used to start something great. Use your head.
4. Laziness
You remember how you use to complain about the large notebooks you have to read for exams? If you lack a good reading culture, it is certain you will be bereft of ideas to contribute to a company's growth. You are always seen reading gossip blogs where you are updated with the lifestyle of celebrities but lack the idea of what the top 20 questions interviewers ask. Scaling through campus days as a lazy person doesn't mean such is likely to continue in the real world. Carrying on with laziness is what leads to prostitution, where a lady feels she can use her body to fetch her daily bread instead of her brain, or where a guy still expects his uncle to be the one to help him achieve his targets even after getting him a job through nepotism. You get to wonder why they spent 16yrs developing their brain in school.
5. Pride
I remember when I was in my final year at school, I was always happy about what the future held for me. I knew I was going to get a job that pays 350k immediately I graduated. Reality slapped me in the face when my first offer was a job paying 30k. I had no choice but to take the offer cos I was already tired of adding more months to the six months I had spent at home just sleeping. Luckily for me, that job paved the way for a better one cos it gave me the needed experience recruiters want to see on a CV. I've now realise that 350k is only feasible for those in the oil sector and those with huge years of experience, not a fresh graduate who doesn't know his left from his right. As you are about graduating, never see any job as demeaning. Take it up while you continue searching for a better one. This gives you experience. A bird in hand is better than a million in the bush. Remember, you are a nobody and no one gives a damn about you out there. So, drop your pride and use your head and hands or end up spending years still eating your mum's food with insults.

Education Beyond Certificate
EDUCATION BEYOND CERTIFICATE::::
It is high time we gave another definition to the term "education". To some people, education borders on going to school, acquiring degrees and working for a company to earn a salary at the end of the month.
My dear readers, education goes beyond acquiring certificate, "we must redefine education"....
Education teaches you about how to make rules, break rules, and challenge an ongoing trend, school teaches you about how to follow rules, live by the rules, and live an ongoing trend unchallenged, thereby limiting that power of creativity in you.
Have you witnessed a scenario whereby you asked a Maths lecturer about how he arrived at a certain formula, and he tells you "that is how it is done"?, and mind you, if you do anything contrary...you FAIL his exam, therefore you must follow the rules.
A truly educated man is he who has developed the faculties of his mind to follow his passion, find solutions where there are problems without following the rules, but creates his own ways through his deep imagination to achieve his dreams.
Checkout most of the world's richest people today, they are mostly school dropouts. Do you think they are not educated because they are school dropouts? Far from it! They are really educated in their own ways, they simply decided to build their own dreams rather than allow themselves to be hired by other people to build theirs.
So many people spend their precious years in school only to end up acquiring certificate NOT education.
Examples of these people include:
1) * People who don't practice what they learn in school before graduation.
As a student of Computer Science, how many codes have you written that worked? Have you been able to (in reality) write a program that solves the problem of an organization?
As a student of Business Administration, how many businesses have you started? How many times have you experienced failure in business, and rise again?
So, are you putting what you are learning in school into practice?
The school will not give or teach you these orientation but education will.
2) *People who have no SKILLS...successful people don't depend on the government of their country to provide jobs for them. A truly educated person has skills, an uneducated fellow can only boast of his certificate without any skills to back it up.
True education lies in the ability to solve problems with the skills you possess.....what are you waiting for? STAND UP NOW, do not procrastinate, learn a skill you are passionate about.
What am I advocating?
This write up is not in anyway articulated to undermine the importance of schooling...Going to school is very important but our mindset about school is what we are advised to change.
TRUE EDUCATION PREPARES YOU TO SURVIVE WITHOUT YOUR CERTIFICATE.
Dedicated to all Nigerian students
WISHING YOU A GREAT WEEK.

11 Tips On How You Can Develop Your Brain To Understand Anything You Read
Hitting the nail staraight on the head, here are some tips for you if you want your brain to understand anything you read :
1. Exercise regularly
This is an intereting part, it can help you fight depression, Well It’s been proven that regular exercise helps to increase brain function and enhances neurogenesis. What this means is that every time you exercise you are creating new brain cells! So Get off your comfort zone and get moving! Your brain will appreciate you for that.2. Do something new
When you experience something ‘new’ you actually ‘stimulate’ your brain! Stop doing the same old stuff over and over again, you won’t die if you try something new. The only way to change the structure of your brain is to do something new. This creates new neural pathways, increasing your intelligence. You could take a new route to work, try a new recipe for dinner, or even a new form of exercise. So just try it and see how this works.3. Train your memory
How often do you hear people say “I wish I had a PHOTOGRAPHIC memory!’ Yet no-one does anything about this! If you discipline yourself to memorize phone numbers and other important numbers (Insurance, credit card, driving license) you will start to see a marked improvement in your memory. – TRY THIS IT WORK4. Be curious
Instead of taking everything in as you are told, try and ask questions like why? how? when? who? e.t.c, get into the habit of By being ‘curious’ and questioning everything, you impose your brain to been innovate & creating new ideas. Don’t do this too much though.5. Think positively
Having the “I can” mentality will help you to be the best you wish to be, in your studies and your life generally. Stress & anxiety kill existing brain Cells and also stop new cells from being created. Research has shown that positive thinking, especially in the future tense, speeds up the creation of cells and dramatically reduces stress & anxiety. Don’t fail yourself before you see your result.6. Ban the calculator
Remember back at school when we were taught to use our brains to do simple sums like times tables?! It’s incredible how we now rely on devices like smart-phones and laptops to calculate really simple equations. Resist the urge to work things out using an external device – and use the device you were born with – your brain!7. Read a book
Reading helps you to overcome tension & stress (brain-cell killers) because it’s a form of escapism. Research has also shown that using your imagination is a great way to train your brain because you force your mind to ‘picture’ what you are imagining. Reading is a great way to trigger your imagination!8. Get enough sleep
At the point your body goes back to get a new energy to overcome the activity of your day, thereby letting go of the built stress in your system. This is when your body regenerates cells and removes all the toxins that have built up during the day. Get to bed between the hours of 9pm and midnight to benefit from the most effective hours of sleep!9. Ditch the GPS
Gone are the days of map reading! Sat Nav may have made our lives easier, it has also made our brains lazier and less efficient at the same time! Go back to the old school and use a physical map to navigate every now and then (this exercises the part of your brain responsible for understanding spatial relationships).10. Please Eat healthy
Our diets have a HUGE impact on brain function. Our brains consume over 20%+ of all nutrients & oxygen that we consume – so remember to satisfy your brain with the good FOOD!Remember In Everything You Do, There Is God
Pray, Pray and Pray again.
